Market or Pitch Season 2, Vol 19: Sports Mania! Opening Kickoff!
The 2nd half of Season 2 kicks off with a bang! Market or Pitch, the podcast, returns from the winter hiatus with a sports-themed episode centered around the 2022 Winter Olympics and Super Bowl 56. In Volume 19 (aka Ep. 7), using a special "4-quarter" game format, Corey and Yesenia offer their marketing and PR insight around the hot topics of the biggest sporting events.
In the 1st quarter, the team discussed the overall sentiment and outside factors that hover over the 2022 Beijing Olympics. In the 2nd quarter, the duo talk about the Big Game, commercials and key points that made this year's Super Bowl success. In Quarters 3 and 4, the co-hosts speak about the racism, discriminatory bias, hypocrisy, and lack of action of the IOC and NFL respectively after the scandals of Russian Olympic figure skater Kamila Valieva and the lawsuit of former head coach Brian Flores.
